Next time you might want to rent a vehicle with, say, I don’t know, a trunk. It helps for those occasions when you’re transporting $30, 000 worth of illegal drugs and get pulled over for a minor traffic infraction after being—as it turns out, accurately—profiled as likely drug traffickers.

An Oregon State Police (OSP) trooper's traffic stop last week in The Dalles-area led to the arrest of four men after the discovery of over 12 lbs of marijuana inside their vehicle. The OSP Drug Enforcement Section has been continuing the investigation.
On December 6, 2011 at approximately 11:07 p.m. an OSP trooper stopped a 1996 Jeep Cherokee displaying Oregon license plates with four occupants eastbound on Interstate 84 near milepost 87 for a traffic violation. The vehicle's driver was identified as EDUARDO MUNOZ GARCIA, age 32, from Hermiston.
Subsequent investigation led to the discovery of over 12 lbs of marijuana concealed in large garbage bags inside the vehicle. Estimated value of the seized marijuana is $30,000.
The vehicle's occupants were taken into custody without incident and lodged in the Northern Oregon Regional Correctional Facility (NORCOR) in The Dalles. The four men are still in custody and identified as:
