Our region has been bombarded by sun recently. Unfortunately sun in January usually means ice, and this is no exception. One ill advised run on summit, although nice to look at, had me pointing it across long patches of ice to shaved ice moguls and onto more ice. The nice weather has melted all the ice off the trees and let the crews focus on getting the park dialed and getting caught up on maintenance.
The terrain park crew has been doing an amazing job with the parks this year. The flow is better than in recent memory, keeping the train of neon clad park rats moving and not standing at the top of every jump and rail.
