...and in that order, too.
The Supersuckers, a hard-nosed rockabilly crew from Seattle who've made a few stops in town over the years, have been booked by Random Presents at the Domino Room on Friday, April 9. Fronted by the boisterous Eddie Spaghetti, the Supersuckers were born out of the early ‘90s Seattle scene and have toured with big acts like Pearl Jam over the years. Many Bendites will remember when the band played Bend WinterFest (when it was still downtown) and nearly rocked down the tent. Good times.
And this is an all-ages show. Youngsters (well, let’s say teens – Eddie can get a bit saucy) who want to see a real rock show should check this out.
Then, on June 29, Random brings outlaw folk rock legend Steve Earle to the Tower Theatre for a solo acoustic show. This is one of the bigger shows announced this year (at least indoors) and is an opportunity for folks who might not otherwise get into the Tower to see a high-profile act in style. Also, the political rocker is playing acoustic – and on his own – which is cool in and of itself.
