Video From the Bite of Bend Stage: Rubblebucket and March Fourth Marching Band

OK, I'm a little late on this, but there are some things people need to know about last weekend:

1) The Saturday lineup for the Bite of Bend was some of the best festival music we've ever had in this town.

2) When it's rained for three straight weeks and finally gets sunny, people in Bend go nuts, bonkers, bananas.

AND

3) Rubblebucket. Say it. Learn it. Know it. You'll be hearing that phrase a lot in the next year. This band is one of the most innovative, fresh, party-friendly acts currently touring and I was pleased as punch that they stopped off in Bend on their very first West Coast tour.

OK, enough with the numerical grandstanding. So, Saturday night was a special one for live music in Bend, mostly because of the somewhat surprising punch to the gut provided by Rubblebucket, but also due to the poppy set that proceeded it by The Ascetic Junkies and then the carnival-gone-wild atmosphere created by March Fourth Marching Band and their army of horns and drums.

Below you'll find the needed videographic evidence to support these seemingly outlandish claims.
