One opportunity the Obama campaign is missing (and they seem to be doing just fine without me) is that they're not posing the question, "Did John McCain put his country or his election first when he chose Sarah Palin as his running mate?" We all know the answer: he chose her because he thought it would help him get the Hillary defectors and the ultra-conservative voters who weren't thrilled about him. But I'm sure that whether it was best for the country never entered his mind.

"Country first!"

If we are to take him on his face (value) then we are to believe that he is a man whose best judgment leads him to believe that Sarah Palin actually is the best one to run a country with America's influence and reach, should he take a turn for the worst during his would-be presidency.

Sarah Palin?

Maybe he'll appoint Chuck Norris as Secretary of Defense onacounna (sic) all them movies, and all the rest (of the cabinet) dwarves so he can be the tallest, for a change. He'll call it "maverick" and "ground breaking."
