What Do We Want? Brains!

When do we want them? Brains!

On the coattails of the release of what could be the biggest budget Hollywood-saturated zombie flick of all time (who better than a scruffy Brad Pitt to solve the world's infectious crisis?), and the unbridled success of AMC's zombie-centric drama-filled "The Walking Dead," here are a few lighter love letters to zombies, each equally filled with skull-smashing, flesh-biting fun! You'll laugh! You'll vomit! And you'll leave starving for brains!

Cabin in the Woods

Joss Whedon's B-terror masterpiece isn't just a film about zombies; it has just about every evil tacky villain and terrible creature covered, "everything you've ever dreaded was under your bed but told yourself couldn't be by the light of day" (a quote from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, another Whedon classic). Meet the Buckners, a family of torture obsessed hillbilly zombies that refuse to die, mostly because they've already died!

Dead Snow

What's more terrifying than a zombie? A Nazi zombie. Duh! As in all B-horror flicks, some drunken teenagers (in this case they're Swedish) make their way into the woods on a backpacking adventure, which immediately goes horribly, brain munchingly wrong. The gore in this comedy/puke-fest is especially stomach-turning, (ever seen anyone use their intestines as rope?) and especially vibrant because all of the flesh eating takes place in the pristine, white Scandinavian snow. Did I mention these zombies are frozen Nazis?
