Community members, caregivers, patients and families are invited to take a stroll on a new nature path circling St. Charles Prineville. The 1-mile pathway was made possible thanks to a generous donation from Mid Oregon Credit Union to St. Charles Foundation.
“We are excited for the community to come enjoy this new nature path at St. Charles Prineville. We care about the health of the community and what better place to think about wellness than at our local hospital?” said Kevin Cole, president and CEO for Mid Oregon Credit Union.
The gravel pathway circles the hospital on adjacent natural landscape featuring sagebrush, quaking aspens, Siberian elms and seasonal wildflowers.
“This walking path is a wonderful addition to our Prineville hospital and it is a place for families, community members and caregivers alike to enjoy nature. We are grateful to Mid Oregon for helping fund this project and hope it can bring a greater sense of health and well-being to all those who use it,” said Todd Shields, St. Chares Vice President of Operations for Madras, Prineville and Redmond.
