Brasada Ranch will open High Desert Holidays on November 25, 2026, a new seasonal tradition centered on an outdoor ice rink presented by Western Title in the resort’s Front Pasture. Set against panoramic views of the snowcapped Cascade Mountains, the rink opens the day before Thanksgiving and runs through January 3, 2027. Resort guests, members, families and visitors can skate, gather around the fire pits, and celebrate the season across the Ranch.

Skate Beneath the Cascades

After a skate, guests can warm up by the fire, enjoy seasonal food and beverages, and browse holiday shopping at the Ranch. Dinner at Wild Rye or The Ranch House, both just moments from the rink, makes it easy to turn a skate into a full evening.

Beyond the Ice
- Tree Lighting & Holiday Kick-Off, Nov. 28, 2–7 PM: Santa arrives at 4:45 PM, followed by the tree lighting ceremony at 5 PM. The day also includes complimentary hot cocoa, kids’ crafts and cookies, and photos with Santa by the fire.
- Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides: Saturdays, 6–8 PM
- Pony Rides: Saturdays and Sundays, 1–7 PM
- Axe Throwing: Saturdays and Sundays, 1–5 PM
- Themed skate nights run throughout the season, including a Classical Piano Concert on Dec. 3, 4–6 PM, featuring A Charlie Brown Christmas and other holiday classics performed by local pianist Paula Dreyer, and a Princess Skate with Oregon’s Fairytale Project on Dec. 5.
