In reply to last week’s letter from Kenneth Judkins about whether President Obama actually was born in the United States:

Mr. Judkins is placing too much meaning on specific wording in stating “certificate of live birth” is suspicious. My Oregon birth certificate from 1956 specifically states “Standard Certificate of Live Birth.”

Each of us may or not may agree with the actions of Obama (I don’t agree with everything and I’m a lifelong Democrat), but please, let’s end these conspiracy theories about his U.S. citizenship. If he wasn’t born in the U.S., don’t you think that would have come out before the election?

  1. I don’t know why people are still talking about birth certificates. Citizenship is not the issue. “Natural-born citizen” is the issue and U.S. case law defines it as being born on U.S. territory of two U.S. citizen parents. Obama admits his father was not a U.S. citizen, so it doesn’t matter where he was born: He is not a NBC and is, therefore, ineligible to be POTUS.

  2. Maybe we should change the Constitution – we’ve done it before – so that the location of the vagina we fell out of is not an issue any more.

  3. I have a question……..

Why didn’t McCain WANT to be President????? He didn’t even try.

All he had to do was contact all the brilliant “birthers” out there, get their amazing information about the Obamacert and he’d have been in the White House as quickly as Palin would fry up a Moose Burger!

He clearly didn’t WANT the Presidency enough… and someone who didn’t WANT it enough to even question his opponent’s birth-vagina location doesn’t DESERVE the White House. If only he’d consulted with the New American Birther Intelligensia (non-elite version) he’d have won and the world would have been a better place… no ranting on about healthcare reform, we’d have just stayed happy with our 37th position in the World Health System Rankings. 37th: if it’s good enough for McCain – it’s good enough for me!!!!

Yes. Sometimes it has been changed by judicial fiat, not the Constitutional process.

Name a Republican that does not want reform? Simply because one opposes the socialist method does not mean one does not want reform. And since the Republicans have offered 150 amendments, and 3 different bills, not to mention their support for the Wyden/Bennett “Healthy Americans Act”, all of which have been suppressed by the Democrat majority, and “leadership”, why would you not want to acknowldge that?

Oh yes, to do so would not allow you to claim that the Republicans are the “party of no”.
