I don’t like to whine about the weather.

We live in the high desert portion of the Pacific Northwest. Weather is variable, winter is long but summer can be too, which is great. Remember this spring? Yeah. It was kinda shitty, admittedly.

So rejoice in the heat. And, if you believe weather scientists can accurately forecast more than 36 hours in advance, it looks like we’ll even get a bit of a reprieve this weekend.

Good news for us, good news for the firefighters out battling the Shadow Lake madness (now around 10,00o acres and 30% contained). Everyone wins.
