To the three young Samaritans that came to my aid at the bottom of the steps in Drake Park on May 28th, who drove me to the emergency room and stuck around until I was taken care of, thank you so much. I am doing well. I hope your lives are forever filled with happiness, health, love, and prosperity.

  1. I was the man who found Ken all messed up. I knew he needed help so I tried my best to help him.

I had left my friend with him as I ran to get water from the martini bar, I told the bouncer on duty the situation and asked for a plastic cup of water, he DENIED ME. I ran to the Silver back lounge to get a glass of water for him, they let me get a plastic cup of water, but then the bouncer refused to lt me leave. I explained the situation to him, he still refused, I asked him what he would do if I just took it, he stated he would call the police and have me arrested. I explained that there was a man who was very injured and needed a drink of water to rinse his mouth, he still refused, I set the cup at his feet and called him a jerk and left. He kicked the cup at me as I walked away and the cup broke.

I then asked K. if he wanted an ambulance, he didn’t, so I sat with him for a few minutes until he decided he wanted the hospitol. I decided to call my mom in the middle of the night to get a ride, instead of calling 911 and getting him a 1,500$ bill.

I ran to a pay phone, on the way there I saw a man and asked to use his phone, he asked why and pulled it out. I explained the situation, then he refused. he saw the blood, and refused again. eventually somebody under 21 said yes. we got him there. My night was ruined. but, ti’s all good brother. I’m glad to hear you are doing better.
    Peace.

  2. Ah, yes… good ol’ Bend bouncers, good Christians one and all.

When will Bouncers get it into their primitive rudimentary minds that acting like overfed a>>>>holes is not on their job descriptions? When will it dawn on Bend police dept that they are NOT hired to act as hired-guns for the bars of bend?

Remember when Bend was a nice place to live?

I wonder would Source volunteer to do an expose on Bouncers’ Stupidity?
