It’s fitting that a place called the PoetHouse would be the site of the Bend Poetry Slam, which is going down tonight at 7:30pm to give you some pre-holiday spoken word acrobatics to sink your teeth into.

Appearing at slam is Guy J. Jackson, who you might remember from his album with local pianist David Finch and his appearance at Last Band Standing where he showcased his excellent and often-hilarious storytelling. Jackson has since moved to L.A., but has triumphantly returned for this show — or something like that.
