Oktoberfest

EATS, DRINKS, GAMES—The first absurd game of sport listed on the downtown Oktoberfest posters is wiener dog races. Who wouldn’t want to see those little pigskins work their tiny legs to the sweet, sweet sounds of drunken lederhosen-adorned yodelers? Oh yeah! And beer! Bend beer! Over a dozen local breweries will be in attendance, and did we mention the wiener dogs? Downtown Bend. 5 pm Friday, noon Saturday. Free.
