Looking for some new catchy, dreamy summer jams?

Try Smith Westerns new album Soft Will, out June 25 but streaming now on NPR. Perfect, Bowie-esque bike riding music from the Chicago threesome who brought you the 2011 garage-pop break out Dye it Blonde.

Arent they cute little guys?
  • Aren’t they cute little guys?

Smith Westerns’ new album is an evolution from their former lo-fi teenage angst, into a smoother more likable sound. What they’ve retained from their first album are the screaming Harrison-esque guitar riffs, just a touch of surf rock and flowing melody lines that will have you dancing and singing along from start to finish.
