Wilderness happens to be one of the Source’s favorite local bands so we can’t wait for the release of their first album Homeward from the Battle on Monday August 19 with a big party at Crux Fermentation Project!

Below is a teaser for the album, the song you hear is “Dark Angel” and is one of the gems of Wilderness’ catalogue. The Source got a hold of an advance copy of the rest of the album and are happy to report that the band’s rollicking alt-country transfers magically to recording. We’re loving Homeward from the Battle, although we do miss looking at all of Jared’s pretty guitars while listening. Read more about the new album and the band here.
