The Deschutes County Fair & Rodeo is proud to welcome multi-platinum country artist Sara Evans as part of the Kendall Toyota of Bend Free Summer Concert Series. Taking the stage on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, Evans will kick off a week of live music, summer nights, and unforgettable fair experiences right here in Central Oregon.

Known for a powerful voice and a long list of chart-topping hits, Sara Evans has become one of the most recognized names in country music. Fans can expect an energetic live show featuring songs like โ€œBorn to Fly,โ€ โ€œSuds in the Bucket,โ€ and โ€œA Little Bit Stronger,โ€ bringing a mix of nostalgia and high-energy performance to the fair stage.

The Deschutes County Fair & Rodeo continues to focus on a family-first experience, blending live music with everything the fair is known for, including rides, food, exhibits, and community tradition. From afternoons at the petting zoo to evenings filled with music on the grass, Wednesday night sets the tone for a full week of entertainment in Redmond.

The concert is free with fair admission, and admission tickets are on sale now. Special VIP front-stage access tickets go on sale this Friday at 10:00 am. Both fair admission and VIP concert tickets are available at www.tickets.deschutesfair.com

As the fifth most-played female artist at country radio in nearly the last two decades โ€” her five No. 1 singles include โ€œNo Place That Far,โ€ โ€œSuds In The Bucket, โ€œA Real Fine Place To Start,โ€ โ€œBorn to Fly,โ€ and โ€œA Little Bit Strongerโ€. Several of those #1โ€™s spent 2 weeks in the top spot and were certified platinum by the R.I.A.A. Overall, sheโ€™s had 15 songs chart in the top 20.

Sara continues to thrill audiences around the world playing over 70 shows each year. Saraโ€™s โ€œstunning, country voiceโ€ (Rolling Stone) has earned her the prestigious Academy of Country Music Top Female vocalist accolade as well as numerous American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Country Music Association, CMT and Grammy Awards nominations. In addition, the CMA awarded Video of the Year honors for her hit chart-topping single, “Born to Fly” from her double-platinum album of the same name. Evansโ€™ discography also includes the multi-platinum selling studio albums Real Fine Place and Restless as well as the gold-certified projects Stronger and No Place That Far. Evans is also a proud member of the Grand Ole Opry.

This year Sara launched her podcast Diving In Deep and has had a wide array of guests featured on the show including Crystal Gayle, Bill Anderson, Martina McBride, Ernest, and many more. In addition to a prolific country music career, Sara has been honored for her philanthropic work and in 2018 was presented the NAB Education Foundationโ€™s Service To America Leadership Award. A Red Cross ambassador, Sara received the national Crystal Cross award for her work with the disaster-relief organization and has helped raise funds for the CMA Foundation. A longtime support of St. Jude Childrenโ€™s Research Hospital, Sara continues to support the hospital as a cause dear to her heart.
