The all-ages festival will feature nationally touring artists alongside standout local performers across multiple professional sound stages. Festival organizer Bob Heffernan says the festival continues to celebrate America’s rich musical heritage while building a thriving blues community in Central Oregon.
The 2026 lineup includes national sensation Thunderstorm Artis, Watkins Glen,Eric Leadbetter Band, Maxwell Friedman Group, The Blues Benders , The Desert Howlers , Blue Orleans , The Session, Bigfoot County, , Thomas T & the Blue Chips and more. The festival will also feature a dedicated gospel set celebrating the deep spiritual roots that helped shape blues music throughout American history.
A special highlight of this year’s event is a featured performance by the young musicians of the School of Rock program, showcasing the next generation of blues and rock talent and reflecting the festival’s commitment to music education and keeping the blues tradition alive for future generations.
Making their festival debut this year is Maria Jackson & The Blue Orleans Krewe — a fiery mix of New Orleans R&B, swamp boogie, and classic blues rooted in tradition, driven by groove, and alive with soul! Led by powerhouse vocalist Maria Jackson, the Bend-based ensemble channels the spirit and swagger of the Crescent City through an all-star lineup featuring James Hutchens on guitar, Patrick Bédard on drums, Tom Bury on saxophone, CJ Johnson on keyboards, and Thomas T on bass.
“CJ Johnson created The Blue Orleans Krewe to bring together the joy and spirit of New Orleans music with the soul of the blues,” the band said. “When we play the music of artists like Professor Longhair, Dr. John, Louis Armstrong, Marcia Ball, and Katie Webster, we feel a real connection with the audience. People respond with love, happiness, and energy — and these days, we need more of that.”
Festival attendees can expect live music from noon through late evening, local food vendors, craft beer, shaded seating areas, and a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere welcoming both longtime blues fans and newcomers alike.
