Sheryl Crow announced a handful of new tour dates on Monday, including a stop in Bend in July. This will be Crow's first show back in Bend since playing the Les Schwab Amphitheater in 2015.

The pop star has earned nine Grammys over the span of her career, along with five Platinum albums and more than 35 million album sales. Her single "All I Want To Do" propelled her 1993 debut album "Tuesday Night Music Club" to Double Platinum.

Crow is playing three shows with former Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant, who also just announced his North American tour on Monday (unfortunately, the closest he gets to Bend is a stop in Troutdale on June 26).

Touring on the tails of her ninth album "Be Myself," a collaboration between Crow and longtime producer Jeff Trott, she journeys back to her roots with an introspective look at her early work. Her single "Alone In The Dark" is pure unmitigated pop—it's catchy, enjoyable and reminiscent of Crow's early-2000s repertoire.

Crow plays the Les Schwab Amphitheater on Wednesday, July 25 at 7pm. Tickets start at $46 plus fees.

If you're looking to purchase tickets, they go on sale Friday, March 9 at 10am online at

However, if you use the code "monqui" you can purchase presale tickets on Thursday, March 8 from 10am-5pm.

Steve Miller Band and Peter Frampton return to Bend

Rock music icons to play Les Schwab Amphitheater

Posted By on Thu, Feb 15, 2018 at 3:11 PM

Steve Miller and Peter Frampton are joining forces for another summer tour—and they're making a stop in Bend.

The Steve Miller Band, an integral part of the San Francisco music scene in the late '60s, shook up American culture with their blend of psychedelic blues and Americana roots. Fun fact: Les Paul was Miller's godfather, playing a large role in his development as a musician.

Yes. Yes it is.
  • Yes. Yes it is.
Frampton, known for his solo work as well as a founding member of The Herd and Humble Pie, is a rock music icon. He's collaborated with legends such as George Harrison (personally, my favorite Beatle), David Bowie, Jerry Lee Lewis and more. His album, "Frampton Comes Alive!" remains one of the top-selling live albums of all time. With any luck, Frampton will serenade the audience with his Talk Box for a song or two.

Steve Miller Band and Peter Frampton will be performing at the Les Schwab Amphitheater on Tuesday, Aug. 21 at 6:30pm. Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 16 at 10am, but if you use the code below, you can purchase your tickets during today's pre-sale until 5pm.

Coolio headed to Bend

Popular '90s rapper to play 2018 Oregon WinterFest

Posted By on Wed, Nov 8, 2017 at 2:40 PM

Remember this guy?

How could you not?

Coolio is firmly cemented in '90s pop culture. Not only did he give us the 1996 rap anthem and Grammy-winning "Gangsta's Paradise," but many of us who grew up in the '90s will remember his theme song to Nickelodeon's Kenan and Kel.

Coolio has been confirmed to perform at the 2018 Oregon WinterFest—in the Music Chalet on Feb. 17 at 9pm.

Curious about what Coolio has been up for the past decade... or two? You may have seen him acting in a few HBO movies, a short-lived 2008 reality show called "Coolio's Rules," and the 2009 web series "Cooking With Coolio," in which he prepared healthy comfort food on a budget—or "Ghetto Gourmet." He released a cookbook under the same name and is currently working on another with a fellow friend and bandmate.

This year, Coolio released a new single titled "Kill Again," and is touring worldwide.

If you missed "Cooking With Coolio"—here's him teaching viewers how to make a tasty caprese salad in true Coolio style.

Jazz drummer Ari Hoenig stops in Bend

Book this show now so you don't miss out: Ari Hoenig Trio Nov. 11

Posted By on Mon, Nov 6, 2017 at 3:02 PM

Prepare for a night of smooth jazz from one of the most respected contemporary artists in the jazz world on Sat., Nov. 11.

Ari Hoenig, jazz drummer virtuoso, was born into an accomplished musical family. His father is a conductor and classical music singer, his mother a violinist and pianist. He picked up piano and violin at four years old, and the drums followed at 12 years old. By the age of 14, Hoenig was playing in jazz clubs with other budding musicians.

I don't know about you, but the only talent I was practicing throughout the single digits of my childhood was busting out the moves with my Ribbon Dancer™.

The trio—consisting of Hoenig on drums, Gilad Hekselman on guitar and Orlando le Flemming on bass—has toured extensively in Europe, Japan and South America. This will be their only performance in Oregon (take that, Portland!) so take advantage of this rare opportunity to enjoy a solid night of jazz from this talented trio.

Ari Hoenig Trio

Sat., Nov. 11. Doors: 6:30pm, Show: 7:30pm

Deschutes Brewery, Mountain Room

901 SW Simpson Ave.
