Barbershops are enjoying a resurgence, which is good news. As our lives become increasingly inundated with pocket-sized computers and various other apps, screens and social media sites, personal interactions have become less frequent. While we love an iPhone as much as the next nerd, we’re also happy to stroll down to Bond Street Barbers, get the ears lowered, and shoot the breeze with the masterful grooming technicians inside. The fellas there are as adept at crafting a high-fashion Euro-style cut as they are at doing a traditional high-and-tight trim. Sip a beer, watch the game and debate the pros and cons of a more wired world. All while getting a shave and a haircut. It’s relaxing. And you’ll look better afterward. (JW)
