All Deschutes Public Library locations will be closed Friday, December 12, through Sunday, December 14, due to network security issues. There will be no access to the library website during this time, however customers can still access and reserve materials through the library’s catalog (https://dpl.bibliocommons.com) and through the Libby app, where you can access eBooks, digital audiobooks, and magazines.

Book drops will be closed at all locations during this time.

Library director Todd Dunkelberg says he hopes to be able to open again for regular hours on Monday, December 15.

“Our web and IT staff are working diligently to bring our network back up to speed,” Dunkelberg said. “We apologize for this unexpected shut-down. Our priority is getting back online and open for our customers as soon as possible.”
