Prineville Insurance will host the grand opening of its new Prineville office at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 19, 2026, marking both a physical expansion and the agency’s 91st year in business.
Founded in 1935, Prineville Insurance celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2025 and remains a locally owned and operated independent insurance agency — a distinction that has become increasingly uncommon as large national insurance and financial firms continue acquiring long-established local agencies throughout Central Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.
As a locally owned independent agency, Prineville Insurance is not tied to any one insurance company. The new office, located at 220 NW Meadow Lakes Dr in Prineville, will serve as a Central Oregon hub for Prineville Insurance and its affiliated agencies, including Insure Pacific (www.insurepacific.com) and Gerald Ross Agency (www.ross-insurance.com).
