BEND, OREGON—In the face of the rapidly spreading Flat Fire, Mid Oregon Credit Union announced the launch of a special fundraising effort to support those affected by the devastating wildfire. The credit union will be accepting donations from the community and will match the first $10,000 raised, underscoring its commitment to the well-being of Central Oregon.

“As Central Oregonians, we are all too familiar with the danger of wildfires and the tremendous damage they can do to our natural surroundings, communities, and personal safety,” said Kyle Frick, SVP Marketing and Community Relations. “The Flat Fire serves as a reminder of this reality, and in response to an outpouring of concern from members asking how they can help, Mid Oregon has established a dedicated account to provide financial relief to fire victims.”

Members and the public can contribute to the relief efforts online, in branch, or by phone/text:

Online Donations: Visit Mid Oregon’s website to donate using a credit or debit card.

In-Branch Donations: Members can make donations directly from their Mid Oregon accounts at any branch or by contacting the Contact Center at 541-382-1795.
