As you might have noticed from the "Shop Local" special issue you're holding in your hands, this Saturday is "Small Business Saturday," a day devoted to shopping at small businesses to support vibrant communities. The Workhouse, which houses goods by local makers and artisans, has challenged their creators to make quality gift items for $10 to $30.
