Southern California rockabilly doesn’t get much more punk than the Chop Tops. With their snarling drummer/front man Sinner, a trio of Ricky Ricardo haircuts, and a revving motor of onstage energy, the band mixes blues, traditional country and punk rock in equal measure. With a Nashville flair and a rasping warm baritone telling stories of his broken hearts and winding dusty travels, Texan Graham Wilkinson combines the rolling stone storytelling with honky-tonk, country, ska, and the meandering spirit of a troubadour singer songwriter.
