10 Barrel Brewing to Boise: We're coming!

10 Barrel to open a second brewpub in Boise this summer.

The nearly six-year-old Bend brewery, 10 Barrel, is planning on opening a brewpub in Boise, Idaho as early as this summer.

The Galveston Ave. operation has signed Shawn Kelso, the former brewmaster of Baker City's Barley Brown Brewpub, as the point man for the new Boise brewery.

Kelso will join 10 Barrel brewmasters Jimmy Seifrit and Tonya Cornett, the award-winning brewer formerly with the Bend Brewing Company. Cornett's first official day was Jan. 2 and she's already working on her first batch of beer.
