Last summer if you showed up early enough to the Band of Horses show at the Les Schwab Amphitheater you probably caught opening act Dawes. If not, you definitely missed out, but you’ll get your chance next Tuesday. The LA-based band ditched their post-punk beginnings for a soulful indie-Americana sound that has a vintage, folky vibe.

While sorting through my calendar emails this afternoon I saw that Silver Moon booked the rockers to play a week from tonight with opening act Jonny Corndawg from Nashville. Yes, that is a strange name, but his experimental country will make showing up early worth your time.
