From our 10/12/17 story titled “Did OSU-Cascades Get the Shaft?,” further details on the FTE funding, from the Higher Education Coordinating Commission:

* The 2017-18 column does not include $12.5 million in Engineering Technology Sustaining Funds for which distributions have not been determined.

* Because enrollment figures for 2017-18 have not been finalized, FTE counts were assumed to be the same as 2016-17. One FTE is defined as either 45 undergraduate student credit hours (SCH) per year; 36 graduate, masters or professional SCH per year; or 27 PhD SCH per year. FTE includes only resident students with the exception of PhD students. Non-resident PhD students are funded as residents through the Student Success and Completion Model.
