Typically, Bend lacks anything resembling a comedy scene. But once a year local comics get together and compete against one another hoping to be crowned the Last Comic Standing.
This year, local jack-of-all-trades Josh Cordell took home the title on the shoulders of his very Bend-centric routine. Cordell— whom you might know from his directing music videos for former Bend musicians Chris Beland and Erin Cole-Baker— is also the boys tennis coach at Summit High School. He can now add commedian to that list.
