It must suck to get boo-ed off the stage, which is precisely what happened to opening act Pater Familias last night at the Domino Room. Their music was fine, but it just went on and on and … yeah. Too long, especially for a school night.

Eventually, the crowd’s patience exceeded, chants of “get off the stage NOW!” began and, well, they graciously left the stage.

Murder by Death set up quickly, made a quick apology and proceeded to rock the eFF out. The song “Brother” was a real highlight. I would have shot some video but with fist fulls of bourbon and Busch, I didn’t really have a spare hand. Sorry.
