There are so many reasons to love this earth friendly, yoga bending, volleyball hittin’, world traveling musical guru. But my number one reason for wanting to win tickets is so that my 5 year old son and I can go dance together to his favorite band. Last time Franti came he had a whole bunch of kiddos come up on stage and dance with him. My little guy would just be blown away if he had that opportunity!
I love his fun easy going sounds- perfect for summer!!!

Michael and his entire Spearhead band have the sweetest gift of being able to spread gigantic love for (TRULY) all people on stage in a 2 hour period. You leave the concert on a love high that lasts.
Because he makes me forget all the bad, and dance to all that is good.
I love this lovable loving love-bucket of an artist because his soulful spirit is genuine, resonating with a community of hippies, huggers and lovers in Central Oregon. Franti is the real deal and you’ll know it too if you ever have the chance to be in his presence. I hart Franti.
I would love to go see Michael Franti and friends again. His message is one of peace and love for one another and our planet. I and my grown children never miss him when he comes to town. I always feel re-energized after jumping up and down for an entire concert.

Franti is my cleanse of any negativity in my life. When I’m down or having a rough time I play his positive music then his lyrics helps remind me ill be ok. I have been to every show in Bend with my girlfriends and we all dance our worries away and have a blast everytime. I love Franti <3

LoCAl… the man gets rootsy wherever he rambles. Michael is of the people, for the people. No doubt, this humble dude will be floating the Deschutes and rubbing innertubes with the locals come Sunday. He is extremely generous and loves his fans, always giving shout-outs to his peeps. This humble man epitomizes peace on earth, goodwill towards men. I would be honored to enjoy these tix and be in the moment with all that is Franti.
My 13 year old daughter is a HUGE fan! I would love to take my daughter, it would be her first concert. My first concert was Ziggy Marley and I will never forget it 🙂 also, my sister-in-law always wins free concert tickets, I have never won. Would love to rub it in her face 🙂 lol!
I have listened to MF for so darn long. He lifts me out of bad moods and grounds me. I even have a song of his picked out to walk down the aisle. Love him.
Michael Franti’s albums are some of the very few that I can listen to all the way through without skipping songs because they are all awesome and inspiring. I practice to one of his yoga DVDs on a regular basis. It’s not just his music that I love, it’s his messages + love + commitment + passion for making this world a truly happier, better place. He stands up for what he believes in and radiates positivity all over the globe. LOVE HIM!!

These tickets to Franti will change my life! If I don’t get them there is a good possibility my girlfriend will dump my ass. I told her I would get tickets for this show but ended up spending all of my money on a liver transplant for my Chinese Water Dragon. He has a thing for drinking lots saki okay, and usually drinks when we play mahjong all night. To top it all off I think I may be Franti’s long lost doppelganger who he never knew he was always searching for. At last! We can finally re-unite and he can show me the ways of the barefoot warrior tribe. Plus, I heard he hides a sacred gem in the body of his acoustic guitar. I need this gem to complete my portal to the other side which will in turn reverse global warming, eradicate corporate greed, and they will never prove Obama is a US citizen. So you see the fate of the world depends on me going to this show. Nuff said.
Easy! I’ve already bought my tickets, so when I win them, I will spread the LOVE, just like he does and give them to somebody needing some positivity!!! ;D

He is such a positive, fun bundle of energy and joy. I’d be grateful to see him shine on stage. He includes our kids, loved out town and we ought to give him more reasons to keep coming back!

His music makes everyone happy – from ages 1 to 99! Plus he actually believes in good and tries to make the world a better place. How can you not smile when you listen to his music?!
I love Franti for the upbeat lyrics, that remind me to be happy, and that I sing “loudy, loudy, louder “in the car with my 5 year old son = the best!!!!
Franti makes me smile, dance and feel positive. Putting on his music can change a bad mood to good in a split second!
Franti brings me up when I am down, his music reaches in and pulls out the tiredness of the day and makes me dance. When I feel beat down his beat makes me go on. The way he interacts with the crowd makes me smile. Franti is the “VIBE” of Bend.
I would love to see him perform live!
I would love free tickets to any show at this point as cash is short. Franti is a great energy on stage and really gets the crowd into his performance. Plus our 5 year old son will be on a vacation with his grand parents, which would make for a nice little night out with the wife.

I WANT!!! I have a really hard luck case. My daughter, who has been to every Bend Franti concert with me since he performed with Ziggy Marly at COCC years ago, “cannot” (refuses) to go with me. I need to go to the concert in order to continue to qualify for Old Hippie status. I only hope I can find some other true blue hippie to go with me. Big sigh….

He sounds like summer!
Last years Michael Franti concert was a special transition moment for my son and I. He had just moved from a very dark & hopeless place. During the show I saw a light come back to his face, he smiled and genuinely had a new hopeful outlook after the show. It’s been exactly one year yesterday. I sent him a text saying how happy I was that he moved to Bend and he replied “I am glad to be here I have never been this happy in my life” Thanks Michael…
His happy music is full of love–the kind that this old/young woman (60?!) can really dance to and loves. His spirit and his songs give me hope, and reminds me that we are not doomed, if we have musicians, artists, creators, doers, shakers, sons and daughters to take up the fight and spread the love. I cannot afford the tickets, but would LOVE to see his show.

My roomate is moving back to Alaska next week and we would love to have one last hurrah to the sounds of Michael Franti! Not only will it give us a chance to show Bend our sweet dance moves, but it will be my first concert in Bend! I think it would be the perfect way to say goodbye to my friend and the perfect night of fun 🙂

Michael Franti is a refreshing blast of positivity with a get-up-and-dance beat. The world could do with more artists like him!
Not only does Franti produce great music and an entertaining show, he likes to hang with the locals and play volleyball and ride cruiser bikes.
He makes you want to get up and dance! He puts the best vibe out….love, peace, music!!
