Noted Bend conservationist and educator Alice Elshoff has been selected as the Source Weekly’s Woman of the Year.  Earlier this year, Elshoff organized a successful protest against the armed occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge by the sons of controversial Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy.  Her voice set off a chorus of other voices in support of public lands in Oregon and throughout the nation.
