There was tragic news this afternoon from our neighbors to the north. A news story broke that a single gunman had opened fire on shoppers at the Clackamas Town Center near Portland.
Early reports stated that at least three people were killed, including the gunman and multiple others were wounded in the shooting.
This is terrible news during the holiday season when most people are in festive moods and then are shocked during their shopping by some lunatic gunman.
This story comes as an aftershock to the multiple mass shootings that have taken place earlier this year.
These horrible events need to stop. I’m not sure how we go about this but something needs to change.
