I welcome new Outdoors columnist Pam Stevenson. Although I will miss reading my good buddy Robert W’s columns, a woman’s point of view is long overdue.

 
On a grammar and usage police point: please slap yourself for not finding and correcting her misuse of ‘replete’ instead of ‘complete’ in the reference to buying a new wetsuit…it may have been replete with cool features, but it was complete with a hood.
