 I was currently enjoying your “Thirsty” issue, when I stumbled upon a mistake in the “Simple Economics” part of the story. Henry Weinhard’s beer is NOT brewed in Hood River, read the label, Miller owns HW and it is brewed at one of their facilities in Texas or California. For a while Full Sail brewed the Special Dark for them – not sure if they still do. I am NOT a know-it-all by any means. A couple of years ago I saw that the HW label (old one) had a Hood River address, well we went only to discover the truth. Sumbitch! Anyway, kick A article, I have enjoyed it. Time for a cold one.
