Young parents are wowed by their children’s abilities on the computer. Older parents are agog at their teenagers’ facility with the cell phones, iPods, remote control devices and other gadgetry. Americans are enthralled with new technology.

Is ability to use technological gadgets an indicator of a person’s overall intelligence? Ironically, at the same time that we have more and more technology at our fingertips, our knowledge of science appears to be on the wane.

Our ignorance of science is displayed prominently in our reluctance to question the official 9/11 narrative. The discovery that the government’s story about 9/11 is a lie, entails science and reasoning overcoming our blind faith in authority and our faulty assumptions about the integrity of people in power.

While human beings and particularly lawyer/politicians are known to lie with regularity, a scientific premise can be tested again and again until it is eventually accepted as scientific truth or proven false. The official 9/11 story hasn’t been subjected to this type of scrutiny. Americans are instead told we should accept without question a preposterous tale, which says that the laws of physical science were suspended on the fateful day of Sept. 11, 2001.

The rubble underneath the World Trade Center has pools of molten metal, which remained like lava for weeks after the attacks. The recent scientific discovery of military grade nanothermite in the World Trade Center residue provides a scientific explanation for this phenomenon which political and television rhetoric cannot.

When the 9/11 events are thought of as a sneak attack we react emotionally. As we think of 9/11 as a crime, we become receptive to looking at the evidence. The 9/11 Truth Movement is really about looking at the forensic and physical science. While forensics can’t identify a perpetrator, it can identify a murder weapon.

Forensics indicates that the murder weapon at the World Trade Centers was nanothermite, which was first created and produced in the U.S.

  1. The claims of Niels Harrit that surround his ‘discovery’ of nanothermite as the agent causing of the demise and collapse of the WTC buildings have grown ever more absurd over the last months and the reason ‘no one’ discusses it in the rational world is that it is an irrational claim.

In this ‘big bang’ approach to the ever-expanding universe of the 9/11 Truthers claims and charges become ever more fanciful. Why are people so willing to believe that a 100 of tons of nanothermite and now many more hundreds of tons of conventional explosives were successfully smuggled into the WTC and that everyone was in on the conspiracy and has refused to break the code of silence about it over the last eight years?

‘Our ignorance of science is displayed prominently…’ and of the scientific method, I might add.

    Read the original article: http://www.bentham-open.org/pages/content.php?TOCPJ/2009/00000002/00000001/7TOCPJ.SGM

The qualifiers used in the text are less than conclusive. Harrit himself claims that he has been searching since the day the towers fell because he could not conceive of it being possible in the conventional sense. Now the sheer volume of material he claims were necessary for the task boggle the mind–and presuppose a Port Authority Security complicity. No one can slip in 100’s of tons of explosive secretly without being noticed.

It always boils down to why. Why would someone not motivated by the blind hatred and religious fervor of the hijackers do what was done? It always boils down to how. How has such a massive conspiracy be maintained all of these years by so many people?

Wanting to believe something does not make it so. Barack Obama is a US citizen and president of the United States. Physics and forensics have proven that Lee Oswald could have acted alone. Man did land on the moon. The Truthers will never believe other than what they believe–they are smarter, more knowledgeable, and have the internet to back them up. I want the last fifteen minutes of my life back!

  2. WTF. The “editor” of this “newspaper” won’t print my rebuttal to Bob Bates, yet he will print nonsense like this.

    Loonie toons on parade.

  3. I heard the wildest conspiracy theory recently… not sure you’d believe it… but apparently nineteen religious nutjobs, armed with nothing but boxcutters, hijacked a couple of airplanes over the most secure airspace in the world… ohhh, nevermind.

And, uhhh… Ken, it’s all a conspiracy. You know, to deny you your first amendment rights. Keep YOU from speaking the truth.

  4. No conspiracy Thomas. The left has always been about suppressing the rights of the people, and especially Conservative speech. It is just another example of how the left has no honor, consistently lies, and has no regard for truth.

Thus, they printed a letter full of BS.

  5. Amazing that an individual who has written the volume of running commentary on things he knows, thinks he knows, and has no knowledge of at all can complain that his speech is being suppressed.

“It is just another example of how the left (and right) has no honor, consistently lies, and has no regard for truth.”

  6. Just to be clear on the paper’s policy: We print letters on a space available basis. And we reserve the right to limit how many times a single author is published within a given time frame. We reserve the right to edit letters for space. And while we allow readers to respond to letters, we do not publish responses to responses.

  7. When I was a kid in elementary school I had a friend named Stuart Padasso. He was a cocky Italian kid with a loud mouth and an opinion about everything that he was never afraid to express, regardless of whether anyone desired to hear it and whether or not he knew what he was talking about. He was a good kid, but somewhere along the way he came to believe that he was the self appointed expert on everything. In those days before the internet, the only source for information was the dictionary or the encyclopedia, and since ten year old boys seldom carried around either one, Stuart’s loud-mouthed bluster bullied a lot of us into silence, even though we knew he was wrong. WHe would loudly proclaim in front of everyone that we were ignorant or lying and nothing we could say was ever satisfactory in an argument with Stuart. We always seemed to end up losing the argument with Stuart.

One day, after a particularly frustrating episode, I stormed home to try to avoid any further arguing with him. It wasn’t going anywhere and I was just getting more and more upset. I ran into my mother and she asked what was wrong. I told her about my latest run-in with Stuart, what we had argued about, and how mad it made me to always seem to lose the argument with him. It didn’t matter if he was right or wrong, he had a way of twisting the argument around, coming up with questionable facts that couldn’t be verified, and always getting in the last word.

My mother laughed and gave me advice I have never forgotten. “Stephen,” she said. “Stuart obviously has some issues–he will always have them. He will never really be able to grow up and get over them. Let it go and try not to argue with him any more. It is pointless and won’t get you anywhere. This isn’t the only time it will ever happen. Get prepared and get used to it. There are a lot of Stu Pedassos out there and if you ignore them they will just go away.”

As usual, my Mom was right, and even though I forget her advice now and then, it is still good advice.

  8. Stephen Cramer… thank you for your excellent profile. There are indeed people like Stu.

Signed, a lying, cowardly lib-tard socialist

  9. I wonder if your mother knew the old saw about the “big fish in the little pond”

When some people are given a litle authority it seems to go to their head, and the idea of fairness, goes out the window.

Now, I recognize that The Source does not claim to be “fair and balanced”, and it has the “right” to print tripe such as the article by the “truther”, just as many on the left have the “right” to ignore truth such as Bob Bates did, and reality.

Doesn’t mean one should just set by, and let the BS go on. We are seeing this country being destroyed based on lies, and “crisis” after “crisis”, and it seems too many just set back, and idly accept whatever the government doles out.

Of course, we also know that a Conservative never knows what they are talking about, right?

  10. Ill bet that if you did a true experiment like taking thousands of pounds of jet fuel and sticking it in a metal box and lighting it on fire it would melt almost anything. As the plane was injected into those three or four stories the heat produced from the fuel trapped in those stories melted everything and everyone. as those levels began to collapse the weight of the stories above came down on just one story. that weight collapsed the next story and then the next. when it hit the ground it was still on fire. On the ground you had a hot fire covered with metal of course there was hot metal for days. you want to produce the same results? next time they demo a casino start a small fire and see what type of heat you get for days.

  11. Thank you! This is the truth… YOu guys HAVE TO check the 9-11 stuff out on YouTube.com and also check out The “obama deception” please!

    Thanks you very much tsweekly.com

  12. “Is ability to use technological gadgets an indicator of a person's overall intelligence?”

After reading Micah’s post–if not made in jest–obviously not!

  13. Why?, you ask… I could think of any number of “reasons” why but the one that never seems to get talked about is the insurance.

    Ever heard of “Jewish Lightening”?

  14. Come on…

Can’t we get away from the use of slurs when we write our responses?

Ware’s comment is just plain offensive.
