Bend Endurance Academy (BEA) is proud to announce that it has been selected to host the 2026 USA Climbing Youth Bouldering Regional Championships. The event will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at BEA’s state-of-the-art, youth-dedicated bouldering facility in Bend, Oregon.
The Regional Championships will assemble over 300 of the region’s premier young climbers from Oregon, Southern Washington, and Alaska. These athletes will compete for a qualifying spot at the 2026 Youth National Championships, scheduled for June 2026 in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a critical milestone on the road to Nationals, this competition showcases the incredible talent and tenacity of the next generation of competitive climbers.
“Our facility was built to empower the next generation of climbers, and there is no better way to fulfill that mission than by hosting the 2026 Regional Championships, ” said William Lister, Executive Director of Bend Endurance Academy. “At BEA, we prioritize the athlete experience above all else. This championship is an incredible opportunity for young climbers to showcase their progression and for our community to celebrate the bright future of competitive climbing.”
BEA’s specialized bouldering facility, now in its third year of operation, offers a premier competition environment featuring an elite selection of climbing holds and expansive spectator areas. To ensure a professional and challenging experience, the event will feature intricate boulder problems designed by a team of professional route setters.
The 2026 Youth Bouldering Regional Championships align with BEA’s core mission to inspire and empower youth through climbing, mountain biking, and Nordic skiing. Hosting this prestigious event reinforces BEA’s commitment to the Pacific Northwest climbing community and further cements Bend’s reputation as a hub for youth athletics.
