A couple weeks ago, we toured Bend’s prolific public art collection for a profile of the Art in Public Places program. Now, the latest addition to that collection has been unveiled.

The sculpture, titled “The Cutting Board” will be installed on Wednesday, August 31 on the campus of the new Jungers Culinary Institute at COCC.

The piece by Bruce West weighs in at 2,500 pounds and stands nearly eight feet tall and depicts a piece of cheese on a cutting board.
