The letter from Aimee Bancroft concerning bicycle/automobile etiquette is the best I’ve ever seen. When I see gradeschool kids waiting to cross the street while on their bikes, I wonder, “Do the schools teach bicycle safety?” I’ve also seen parents with their kids doing the same thing.  It’s so much easier to get off your bike and become a pedestrian.
