Take a good look at the photo below. What do you see? Probably not much through my rain-soaked window as my vehicle was buffeted by 30-plus mph winds. But look closer and you might just distinguish a pair of bare legs. That slash of red is a windbreaker. And yes this is an honest to god attempt to snap a photo of the craziest man in Bend. The dude who not only drove into work today, but took time to pack his running gear before he dashed out of the house. This is the same crazy m-fer spending his lunch break the way no one else in their right mind would have dreamed of doing, taking a nice rain-soaked jog through downtown and six inches of snow and slush. Forget Kona in October. Dude, you are a true Ironman.
