• Bend’s gonna love these guys!

About a month ago, I wrote about some bands I’d like to see booked in Central Oregon. It seems someone was reading.

One of the bands I talked about— and frankly one I’ve been pushing pretty hard since I saw them peform in Portland— is Bay Area group Tumbleweed Wanderers. And with today’s lineup annoucement for the free Sunday Les Schwab Amphitheatre concerts, came word that TW will be one of the bands playing in 2013. Oh joyous day!

Just in case you need a refreshing on why I like these guys so much, I’ve included an example of their work below. Be sure to check out the growing LSA lineup for this summer— Portland’s Sallie Ford is also a welcome booking— and get ready for some sun and music!
