  1. My question for Conger and Knopp: – you say you want smaller government, fiscal conservatism and getting the government out of the way of business, yet you TRUMPET the new OSU Cascades expansion into Bend. What did you say? Let the market decide where to put a business? Let Private Enterprise provide solutions? There are such things as private universities. You guy would be significantly less hypocritical if you were working to bring a private university to town. Doublespeak much?

  2. Since Redmond also exists, here is a list of candidate forums for Redmond City Council…a race completely overlooked by the Source.

-Oct 3 @ 12pm – Kiwanis forum, Juniper Golf Course
-Oct 4 @7am – Redmond Executive Association at Juniper Golf Course
-Oct 15 @6:30pm – Redmond Patriots forum at Highland Baptist Church.
-Oct 22 – High School Forum at Ridgeview High School

There are 5 candidates running for 3 open seats on Redmond’s council this year.
