Planning a poorly timed visit to Israel? The Federal Aviation Administration went ahead and cancelled that for you. Theย FAA has banned U.S. airlines from flying into Tel Avivย for at least 24 hours after a rocket strike landed about a mile from the airport this morning. (CNN)

BAD FRUIT: If you recently purchased fresh peaches, nectarines, plums or pluots from Costco, Trader Joe’s, or Walmart recently, you’re going to want to toss or return them. ย California-based Wawona packaging has issuedย a nationwide recall following the detection of listeria in some of its fruitsย packaged and shipped from June 1 to July 12. Frozen fruits are, apparently, not affected. (ABC News)

TWOOPS: The Environmental Protection Agency has apologized after itย “accidentally” sent out a tweet promoting a Kim Kardashian iPhone gameย reading: “I’m now a C-list celebrity in Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. Come join me and become famous too by playing on iPhone!” The upside, for a brief moment, a whole new segment of the population cared about the EPA. (NY Daily News)
