We’ve got two tickets to see the Queen: It’s a Kinda Magic Tour at the Tower Theatre on Saturday, Aug. 2 because…honestly….who doesn’t love Queen?
The tribute group was formed after a world-wide audition process to bring together the most talented musicians and a production team that has seen every minute of Freddie Mercury live footage that exists, making for a show that is as close to the real thing (real Queen that is) as Bend will ever get.
We interviewed Giles Taylor, who plays Mercury in the show, and is so dedicated to achieving perfection in his role that he doesn’t speak on the day of performances in order to preserve his voice. Now that’s commitment.
Check this week’s Source for the full interview with Taylor, and comment below with your favorite Queen song and we will choose a random winner for a pair of tickets to the gig.
Thanks for reading, now go rock out to some Bohemian Rhapsody!
