On this episode of Bend Don’t Break, we’re joined by Redmond Mayor, Ed Fitch, longtime Redmond resident and dedicated public servant. After growing up just outside of Chicago as the ninth of eleven children, he earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in history from Marquette University, followed by a law degree from Willamette Law School in 1978.

He’s called Redmond home since 1979, where he and his wife Susan raised their two children—and now enjoy life as proud grandparents. With a long legal career, including 30 years as a partner at Bryant, Emerson & Fitch and his current role at Fitch & Neary, he’s also deeply invested in civic life. He served as Redmond’s City Attorney, Mayor, and on numerous local commissions and advisory boards, always striving to make Redmond a place people are proud to call home.
