The High Desert Museum will be honoring Veterans Day all day long with free admission for veterans, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Tuesday, November 11. Experience the inspiring artwork of Joe Feddersen, explore the world beneath our feet in Soil Alive! and discover the aftermath of wildfire in Hollow and Still.
Active-duty service members and up to five family members receive free Museum admission through the Blue Star Museums program every day. Thank you for your service!

Senior Day: Seniors explore the Museum for free on November 19
If you are age 65 or older, get ready to explore all the Museum has to offer for free during Senior Day on Wednesday, November 19!
Take a peek at the newest exhibitions, attend a wildlife encounter or go on a nature walk. Plus, the Museum will bring out its treasured vintage Harley-Davidson 42 Liberator motorcycle for everyone’s viewing pleasure.

Museum & Me: Join us after hours for a quieter time at the Museum!
On Thursday, November 20, children and adults who experience physical, intellectual and/or social disabilities are invited to enjoy the Museum after hours during Museum & Me.
With several new exhibitions to explore, it’s the perfect time to experience the Museum during a quieter time. Dive underground to the world beneath our feet in Soil Alive! Be inspired by the artwork of Joe Feddersen. Discover the strength of a forest after a wildfire through detailed photographs.
Sensory packs are available to borrow with headphones, fidgets and more.
