Bend Endurance Academy (BEA) is excited to announce that it has been selected to host the 2025 USA Climbing Youth Bouldering Regional Championships. The event will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at BEAโ€™s state-of-the-art youth bouldering facility in Bend, Oregon.

The Regional Championships will bring together more than 300 of the regionโ€™s top young climbers from Alaska, Southern Washington, and Oregon. These athletes will compete for a chance to advance in the qualification process for the 2025 Youth National Championships, set to be held in Portland, Oregon, in July 2025. As the first step on the journey to Nationals, this competition promises to showcase the talent and the future of competitive climbing.

โ€œWeโ€™re honored to host the event and look forward to welcoming youth climbers, their families, and coaches to our facility,โ€ said Mike Rougeux, Executive Director of Bend Endurance Academy. โ€œThis championship highlights the strength of the climbing community here in the Pacific Northwest and gives young athletes the opportunity to perform on a larger stage.โ€

BEAโ€™s youth bouldering facility, now entering its second year of operations, is the ideal venue for this high-level competition with the latest in climbing hold selection and ample spectating. The event will feature climbs set by professional route setters to challenge competitors and provide an exciting experience for spectators.

The 2025 Youth Bouldering Regional Championships align with BEAโ€™s mission to inspire and empower youth through climbing, mountain biking, and Nordic skiing programs. Hosting this event not only underscores BEAโ€™s dedication to the competition climbing community in the Pacific Northwest, but continues to highlight Bend as a hub for climbing and youth sports.
