Bend-La Pine Schools has presented its Excellence in Education Award to Tiffany Schreiber, an Inclusion Educational Assistant at La Pine Middle School. As a classified employee, Schreiber is the districtโs Support Staff Member of the Year.
Superintendent Steven Cook, Deputy Superintendent Lisa Birk and other District administrators, along with School Board Director Shirley Olson and members of Millerโs family, celebrated her during a surprise school visit Tuesday afternoon. Representatives of MidOregon Credit Union presented the school with a $500 check in honor of the recognition.
โTiffanyโs energy is both infectious and inspiring,โ Dr. Cook said. โHer laughter and smile light up the room, creating a space where students feel valued and supported. Whether guiding a lesson or facilitating an engaging activity, her passion for supporting students shines through in everything she does.โ
In her eighth year at La Pine Middle School, Schreiberโs influence extends far beyond the classroom. She is a natural leader who leads by example and cultivates a sense of connection among the team. From sharing resources to organizing weekly team lunches, she builds camaraderie and contributes to a positive school culture.
โTiffany treats every student and family with respect and dignity, taking the time to understand their individual educational, social, and emotional needs,โ La Pine Middle School Principal Brian Barringer said. โOver the years, she has built meaningful, trusting relationships with families through her care and professionalism.โ
