Central Oregon residents will gather to commemorate International Worker’s Day with a massive teach-in, march, and protest to declare solidarity with all immigrant and working-class neighbors. Local organizers will train community members in documenting human rights violations, gather resources for ongoing mutual aid projects, and build power towards a world where all can live with dignity.

What: Day Without an Immigrant 2026.

Who: The Latino Community Association in conjunction with PCUN, Oregon For All, Central Oregon Peacekeepers, Central Oregon for Socialism, Oregon Working Families Party, the Central Oregon DSA, Together Lab, Allyship in Action, the Rural Organizing Project, Indivisible Bend, 50501 Central Oregon, and many more.

When: Friday, May 1st, from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Where: MigraWatch Training at the Pioneer Park Picnic Shelter; March and Protest Starting at Peace Corner
