Sunriver Music Festival proudly presents Concert Rock Violinist Aaron Meyer in Rock the Holidays, a high-energy performance blending classical masterpieces with rock favorites. Aaron Meyer’s signature style fuses the elegance of Mozart, Vivaldi, and Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker with the power of Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin. This unique “concert rock” experience brings new life to classical music through modern sound and dynamic performance.
Featuring Local Young Talent
Joining Meyer on stage will be 20 outstanding local young musicians, including students from Central Oregon Youth Orchestra, High Desert Chamber Music’s Spotlight Chamber Players, and local music studios. This collaboration offers an unforgettable opportunity for these students to perform alongside a professional rock band. With a passion for music education, while in Central Oregon, Meyer will also lead music workshops for every class at Sunriver’s Three Rivers School, inspiring the next generation of musicians.
A violinist since age five, Aaron Meyer debuted with the Philadelphia Orchestra at age 11 and has since performed with the Oregon Symphony, Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, and many others worldwide. Over two decades, he has released 11 albums and remains in high demand for his innovative performances.
