The beloved Lagree HD Happy Girls Bend race returns to Riverbend Park on Saturday, May 9, 2026, bringing together women from across the Pacific Northwest for a day of movement, community, and celebration. This year, organizers at Lay It Out Events are proud to announce Vámonos Outside as the official beneficiary of the event.
Featuring a Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K, Happy Girls Bend is designed to welcome participants of all fitness levels—whether chasing a personal record or simply enjoying a scenic run through Central Oregon’s riverfront trails.

A portion of proceeds from the 2026 event will benefit Vámonos Outside, a Central Oregon-based organization dedicated to creating opportunities for youth of color and their families to connect with nature.
Through outdoor recreation, skill-building programs, and community gatherings, Vámonos Outside fosters belonging, confidence, and lifelong relationships with the outdoors.

The race begins and ends at Riverbend Park, with staggered start times for each distance. Participants can expect:
- Scenic courses along Bend’s river and trail systems
- Fully supported routes with aid stations and medical staff
- Finisher medals for all participants
- Custom race swag, including performance tees or cozy sweatshirts
- Post-race celebration featuring food, beverages, and local vendors
The day also includes the Happy Little Kids Run, offering age-appropriate distances for children, making it a true all-ages community event.More Than a Finish Line
